Jeannette Barney
Jeannette Barney grew up in Cedar City, Utah. She received her undergraduate degree from Utah State University, and graduated with her law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where she served as a staff editor on the Utah Law Review.
After graduating from law school, Jeannette practiced law with a private firm in Salt Lake City. She clerked for Justice I. Daniel Stewart, then Associate Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court, and also worked at Cornell Law School teaching a legal writing class and working as an academic support coordinator.
Although she is a Utah native, Jeannette has lived in New York, Arizona, France, the Philippines, Singapore, Guatemala, Dubai and Austria. She loves learning about different cultures and languages and has learned to speak French, Spanish, and German while living abroad. She enjoys spending time with her family and likes playing board games, biking, sewing, and reading.
Jeannette is licensed to practice law in Utah and Arizona.
