Debra Stillman
Debra grew up in Murray, Utah, and graduated from Murray High School. She attended Utah State University and graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Debra moved to New York City to write and perform original music, during which time she worked as a legal secretary and decided to take the LSAT. The next thing she knew she was attending BYU’s J. Reuben Clark law school, working as a mediator in the Utah county courts, and editing the BYU Education Law Journal.
While her husband attended graduate school in Tallahassee, Florida, Debra practiced at a private law firm specializing in real estate, construction law, and civil litigation. She finished her time in Florida as an attorney for the Constitutional Issues division of the Florida Department of Financial Services with an emphasis on contract review, wage garnishments, and unclaimed property.
Since moving to Cedar City Debra has practiced criminal and civil litigation, estate planning, real estate, business, and municipal law.
